Movie Fans - so what upcoming movies are we excited about?
There are a lot of great new flicks that just opened or are about to open ... just when its so busy that noone has time to see them!
I am looking forward to:
The Aviator (not a big Leo fan, but looks like a great flick)
Million Dollar Baby (its the new Clint Eastwood movie , w/Hilary Swank . That is getting rave reviews - big Oscar buzz)
Spanglish - it just looks reaaaaally good
Oceans 12 - i've heard it was just so-so, but I still wanna see it
Also heard Closer was really good , and Polar Express - haven't seen either of them yet
Of course my DH is looking ahead to next year and 'Elektra' with Jennifer Garner , his crush de jour.
Any other flicks that you've seen that are awesome, or are looking foward to?

i really want to see Spanglish and Lemony Snicket. There are soo many others, but me & fh rarely go to the movies and if we saw every movie we said we were going to see, we'd be broke. thank god for netflix.

What, no BATMAN??
And i clarify - you actually said you lost all respect for Jennifer Garner, b/c she is dating Ben Affleck (a red suxx fan, no less )

Hmm, that's just about my list too, but I would add in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which I'm currently re-reading for the fourth time with DH (who is reading it for the first time).
Does Hitchhiker's Guide have an official release date yet???

Phantom of the Opera. I'm seeing it with Lbf404 and our DHs when it opens in the city on Wednesday night.
