There are a lot of great new flicks that just opened or are about to open ... just when its so busy that noone has time to see them!

I am looking forward to:

The Aviator (not a big Leo fan, but looks like a great flick)

Million Dollar Baby (its the new Clint Eastwood movie , w/Hilary Swank . That is getting rave reviews - big Oscar buzz)

Spanglish - it just looks reaaaaally good

Oceans 12 - i've heard it was just so-so, but I still wanna see it

Also heard Closer was really good , and Polar Express - haven't seen either of them yet

Of course my DH is looking ahead to next year and 'Elektra' with Jennifer Garner , his crush de jour.

Any other flicks that you've seen that are awesome, or are looking foward to?

I want to see Meet the Fockers and Phantom of the Opera... the only two i can think of off the top of my head...

I just saw Spanglish - Great movie!

Closer was great too - if you liked Garden State, you'll like it. I think it's one of those movies you have to see more than once though...

Spanglish
Meet the Fockers
The Ring 2
Star wars-episode 3

and although it isn't going to be out until next Nov: the 4th Harry Potter.

ETA: I wasn't a fan of closer. I was so psyched to see it, but I found it slightly depressing.

Can someone tell me what Spanglish is supposed to be about - I can't tell what the point is other than Cloris Leachman's character drinking and everyone else crying. What's the deal?

March 18th, so it will be here relatively soon. I loved the first one, so I'm excited for the second. Fortunately, FH doesn't want to see Elecktra, so that's one movie I get out of seeing.
