Movie Review: Runaway Jury

DH and I saw Runaway Jury last night. I am a huge John Grisham fan so I was anxious to see the movie compared to the book. I loved the movie as a movie itself. I wasn't thrilled with it compared to the book. Main reason being they took the lawsuit and made it into a different case. In the book it's about a tobacco company. In the movie it's a firearms company. I don't understand why they did this, but the movie itself was still good. John Cusack and Gene Hackman are great in it.

I recommend the movie but if you've read the book just go into it knowing that it's different from what you've read. Same idea, many of the same things happen, it's just a different case from the book.
