Movie to rent tonight

DH and I are thinking of renting a movie tonight. Anyone have any ideas of something good? We haven't rented a movie in a couple of months.

You're not kidding. But you reminded me that we borrowed Amelie from DH's sister so maybe we'll watch that if the video store doesn't have anything exciting to watch.

oh yes we saw that recently also ... double whoa !! I'm still not sure I liked it, but I thought Jim Carrey and Kate WInslet were excellent

I knoe some really good movies that are somehwat disturbing

Death and the Maiden
The City of Lost Children

Oh if yu liked Amelie,

Happenstance is another very good movie with audrey tautou...also.. I haven't seen it, but I've heard Dirty PRetty Things is very good.


ETA: Also, Shrek 2 came out on DVD todayt!

I think we're looking for a comedy or a light movie. Something that doesn't require a lot of thinking as both of our minds are spent right now.

We rented Shrek 2 and Van helsing

Saved was cute.
Eternal Sunshine with Jim Carrey was GREAT! I loved it!

I loved Day after Tommorow , it was one of those easy movies to watch....

Thanks for all the great ideas. Unfortunately Kiera had other plans for us last night and we didn't even get to eat dinner until 10.

But we're going to try to rent one today for tonight.
