Funny...all my friends that love scary movies told me it was really good. Made you think supposedly. I think Michele31 also gave it a good review too a couple of weeks ago. I def want to see that movie, it will be in my go rent list when it comes out on dvd.

Sorry i disagree totally. I saw the movie as a look into humanity and society. if you watch it as a horror movie, then you are missing the entire point of the movie. It is an IFC type film, not a Friday the 13th type movie.
the monkey's are full of rage because they were forced to watch HUMAN hate and anger towards other humans. The 'infection' is a metaphore for the way that people treat one other today, or some could agrue that we have treated each other this way for all of time.
anyway, did you see how the 'non-infected' men were going to rape the women? So, who were the animals, really? It is also a study on how when pushed humans can become whatever is necessary to survive and protect the ones that they love.
Again, think of the movie with a much larger point.
