Moving Question

Does anyone know if I can hire a mover to transport just a few items (i.e. - big TV, couch and loveseat)?
Does anyone know of any reputable movers in Suffolk or Nassau?

I used Men on the Move, and was really satisfied. They were really quick and efficient. I'm sure if you're willing to pay them, they'll move anything you want!!!

I am not sure about the minimum but I just moved with Leonetti Movers from Oceanside and they were very reputable and knew what they were doing!

I used Men ont he Move too... They were Great and really affordable...They got us out of storage and into my house in Yorktown Hgts(No. Westchester) in under 7 hours with driving..The owners name is John so ask for him when you call....

You could also check your town newspaper/penny saver for listings. Sometimes there are smaller companies, probably side jobs for people that advertise.

I am glad people here had a great expereince with Men on the Move. I used them for a short distance move, they were unprepared and extremely slow. It took them 5 hours to move a studio apt filled with furninture 10 blocks. I will put in the disclaimer that this was obviously the guys I got stuck with and I am sure this is not the norm for the company.
