Well, technically Queens is on LI so you are not violating any sacred code. We could also do manhattan for anyone who works here.
I think forest hills would be great because it's so easy to get to.
it is easy to get to - near the subways and the LIRR. any suggestions? I've been to a bunch of the restaurants... i can't think of a good bar scene except 5 burro which is tiny and gets backed. Otherwise if we want food there are more choices - unless people can suggest a few bars.
Network cafe has a nice lounge and serves a full menu.
THERES also bartini...however for lounge type places i think astoria is better, not many lounges in forest hills...great restaurants though

Le Souk is a Hookah lounge on 3rd & 4th Street in Avenue A

in manhattan Thor lounge is perfect...it has a very big couch area, good for big groups plus tables and you can order food.

I went to Island a couple of sats ago, I havent been in the daytime. That night, the people pissed me off, there were girls that were effing half naked, thinking 'wheres my strip pole' , after a couple of hours the place got raided by firemen, hahahahaah, you see everyone exiting the place
