When we got those, DH deposited them into his account and had no problems

yes just make sure you BOTH sign the back of the check with your new last name !

Since we had a joint account already, we wrote on the back of the checks:
For Deposit Only
To The Account Of
(then the account #)
We went to our regular banking branch & that is what we where advised to do.

We're not married yet but have a joint account & I just signed my name & deposited them...FH never signed them...they didn't say anything

my bank wouldn't take my double endorsed check they said my fiance needed to be there...how annoying!

FH had the same problem at bank of america. I had to go with him today.
