Re: MrHostility, have you found a reception site yet?
Well, we definately have 2 we really like at this point. Chateau Briand and Villa Lombardi. We'd have to have it on a holiday or MAYBE a Sunday at Villa Lombardi. CB we can have it on a Friday night, which is nice because nobody has work the next day.
It's so hard to choose...but we're trying. Thanks for remembering my dilemma.

Re: MrHostility, have you found a reception site yet?
Our friends had their reception at Villa Lombordi's (spelling??) on a Saturday night on Labor Day weekend.
It was so much FUN!!!!
The food is incredible!!! The cocktail hour was amazing, all the food was just so good. I don't think I have ever eaten so much in one day.
It was a really good time.
Good luck!!!! Keep us posted.

There is a new place that is owned by the Wind Watch, it is called Hamlet Willow Creek. You should check it out. I know that it dose not open until April 2005 but is in the process of being completed now. Look under the Vendors section of the LIWeddings.

I've been to Villa Lombardi's and am having my wedding at Chateau Briand - both are amazing fabulous beautiful places with fantastic food and service. I chose Chateau Briand because it was better located (Nassau county is easier to get to for our Long Island, NJ, and NYC guests - Villas is far out).
