Yea... its what fh and I both wanted and we actually called the disney people over the weekend to discuss our options. My uncle is manager in MGM so hes going to help us with the whole thing... something small and intimate (I hate being the center of attention) and it makes me nervous!!!

Then we figure we will invite everyone up for the week to spend time with us so they get a vacation and just them comming will be our present! :)

Were going to have his father marry us...
hopefully! He was a brother for a while and left the priesthood when he met his mom... so... we will see :)

Were setting a very small limit. The weddings can be 18 people for 5,400 dollars or more...
Fh wants fireworks so we are going with the larger 45 person one....
smaller the better to me!!

I just went on the disney site and this is what it says:

Can I have a Catholic ceremony and be married by a priest?
Although Disney's Wedding Pavilion is non-denominational, the official Orlando Catholic Diocese position is that no wedding ceremonies will be recognized outside the Catholic Church. We encourage you to speak with your personal clergy about your situation.

Yea its not Disney its the Catholic Church. My parents got married in 1981 and they wanted to get married in the church's grotto, but the diocese would not allow them to do it since it wasnt inside the church. The priest told them that if their last name was Kennedy, they would be allowed to do whatever they wanted. Sure enough, right after my parents got married a Kennedy got married in an episcopal church (i think) and was married by a Catholic priest.

Yes I understand traditional... FH father is a ex-brother/priest... But theyve been through so many marriages with their children, cousins etc, and once we started working for the diocese, we just wanted to get away...

But, in ayear we may be doing the church wedding!haha who knows
