OMG - you so feel my pain of growing up and being mistaken for Michael all the time!!!

Funny thing is when I was young and HATED my name I would go by a different name (with my family) and tell them that I wouldn't talk to them or answer them unless they used that name - my favorite one was Jamie - so guess what, I married one!!!

Oh please - you should have seen the wedding planning when I would get those damn vendor phone calls asking for Jamie the bride or Michael the groom!!!

yes!!!!! and we are dani and chris...both can go either way. but we dont realize it, so when people looked confused we were thrown off! ( :

that is too funny that you married a jamie. my hubby's BF is dan, so we now have dannyboy and danigirl, and dannyboy is dating kristen...or for short...kris!! ah!

I definitely love my name now - but as you said, very tough to grow up with! The best was when I was 18 and I got a call from the Army yelling at me because I didn't register with selective service!!! They could not understand that I was the person they were looking for - they kept saying - 'but you're a girl!'

BTW - my dad's name is Dan!!
