Mt. Sinai...Florist & Photographer Recommendations Needed

HELP! I live in Cleveland but we`re getting married in Mt. Sinai. I would appreciate any recommendations on reputable, reasonably priced florists and photographers in the area. Please mention names, phone numbers, and prices if possible. If you have feedback on personal experiences, I`d love to hear it. I`m only in town every couple of weeks, and need to book appointments fast! By the way, this web site is a life saver for someone who doesn`t live in town! I wouldn`t know where to start without it! Mt. Sinai...Florist & Photographer Recommendations Needed

I have a florist that I use on a regular basis for all my floral needs. She does such a beautiful job. Not sure of prices...and she's in Coram very close to Mt. Sinai. There is a photographer in Mout Sinai I went to see the other day called Silliam James Photography. It is right next to the handlebar restaurant on 25A. I ended up going with someone else though. Their prices were pretty reasonable

Photographer- Mark Kauffman Studios in Port Jefferson ($2,500+ budget), His info is on this board, under services. He is a wonderful vendor to deal with. lots of girls on this board use his studio. He gives you two photographers, lots of 'in the moment' type photographs. He does not have standard packages but rather you pick what you need from his price list. That way you do not have things you don't want, and more of what you do want. Mark is super responsive to all of my e-mails/phone calls. VIP Studios in Commack (around $2,000 budget) is very good. 2 photographers also. very nice guy. Video- Wild Rose in Islip A number of girls on this board have booked them. There work is creative and beautiful. Very high quality image and sound. Packages start at $1400. Bill and Marie are probably the best vendor that I have. They have helped me out so much. And are always very responsive. www.wildrosevideo.com Florist- Burtons in Melville, Rt. 110. Ask for Mike. You can look on this board and see how people rave about them. His prices are GREAT. He was almost $1,000 less than what some others quoted me. He charges you by the type of item that you want, not the type of flowers.
