MTV VMAs

Anyone else going to watch this? I always do, even though I usually don't know half of what's nominated!

It sucked!!! Don't bother! Worst VMA's EVER!
ALL R&B/Rap groups. the only rock was a medly with Hoobastank (which was bad cuz the singer is sick, he's usually awesome), Jet and Yellowcard. And Jessica Simpson who was horrible! i hate the way she sings. It was a waste of my evening.
At least i got to crochet through it.

and they shouldn't have it in a large arena like that. It was way too noisy. and the set was ugly. No host (i thought Dave Chappelle was hosting, but i was wrong).

Am I the only one who had no idea who anyone was??

And were there like only five celebrities in the audience? I mean, if I had to look at JayZ and Beyonce one ore time ...

I did think it was funny when Mr Jennifer Lopez intro'd someone and had to stand right in front of P Puff Daddy Diddy!!! I wish he (P)would have knocked his ugly arse over the railing!!!! Now that would have been something entertaining.

BTW, I love Bruce Willis, but was Ashton not available so he took his place hanging with P? Kinda seemed like a loser to me ... (I never thought when I was drooling during Moonlighting I would ever say such a thing!! )

i felt the same way. there were no celebs in the audience!! or atleast of what i could see.

That was the worst show that they have had in a while. The set-up was horrible, it seemed unorganized bc they had so many different stages in random places.

Puffy and Bruce was interesting...never would have thought they hung out together. Why the hell did Mase keep saying 'Welcome Back'? We know you're back and it's the name of your song - enough already.

Chaka Kahn was completely off key when she sang 'Through the Fire'. Before they showed it was her, DH and I were like who did they get to mess up Chaka's song...She screwed up her own song

Usher is so full of himself - I can't stand to watch him.

Jessica looked ridiculous on that floating thing. It's a shame bc she has a nice voice, but she make these really ugly faces when she sings.

The performances were pretty weak. Alicia Keys and the Terror Squad were the best ones.

thought this show was very rough. very rappy and seemed like it was yo mtv raps awards. didnt think it was like other shows. way to much going on couldnt keep track. bad match ups look at marilyn manson and mandy moore? take it an watched it on ff in 1/2 hour. no host and poor presenters.

So that guy was sick - Dh and I thought he was really drunk or strung out or something because he was awful on the other hand we enjoyed Yellowcard and they seemed so happy when the one the award.

I agree with agobe - couldn't stand seeing JayZ one more time. And Jessica nice voice and pretty girl - ugly crazy faces when she sings. Dh couldn't look at the screen - we also kept saying get her down from the floating thing - so silly.

I actually enjoyed the show - didn't think it was great but I like dit anyway.
