Had a Make Up trial last night.. the girl was SOOO nice. [and CHEAP! $80 for airbrush]
Honestly didnt LOVE the make up. I feel like if I directed her more she'd be able to do a better job.
Stupid me tells the girl that i WOULD like to use her.
W T F do I do now? More I think about it, more I dont really want to use her....

Yes, awesome idea! Only thing is that my mom AND MOH were there last night.... siiighhhh... I feel SOOOOO BAD!

any pics?? I keep second guessing my make-up artist choice too because she uses regular make-up and not airbrush-but I feel bad cancelling w/ her b/c I already booked the two girls she works with for hair(and love them-so I want to keep them). So, I am in the same boat. I am just not stressing over it. $80 is a great deal and if you think she will do a great job w/direction-just make sure you have your moh there to help direct her.

when i had my first MU trial i thought i loved it and booked her. then i realized i wasnt crazy about it so i tried a second one with the same girl and love it!!

In all honesty I would tell her the truth. You made a quick decision on the spot, and you realized that you want to check out other vendors to be certain. It is not a terrivle thing to let her know that you made a quick decision. You don't have to be rude and tell her you didn't like her work, just let her know you would be happier checking others out....Hope this helps..

did you leave a deposit with her? if not, then I would just tell her you had another makeup trial and you decided to go with the other girl instead.

I am dealing with the same situation. My mom (who sorta knows the makeup artist) is going to tell her that my aunt booked makeup for my whole bridal party as a gift for me for my wedding. I feel bad doing this, but I really didn't like the makeup she did.

Yeah but she knows your mom didn't like it....Just tell her she's forcing you to go to a salon and since she's paying for it you can't object...thank her politely and be on your way.....
I think she did a good job for regular make-up, but not for wedding make-up....jmho

what if you call her and say after looking at the make up, its not the look i want and if you do want to give her another shot ask for another trial and show her what you want for the wedding, then if she cant do it.... you dont book her... but if you liked her and her prices maybe give her another shot....

Well did you sign a contract yet? If you haven't sign anything yet, you can cancel her. Make sure to email her so you have a proof and she doesn't need to hold the date for you.
