oK, i know there is not much I can do besides wipe Casey's paws when she comes in but did anyone come up with any creative solutions? She hates having her paws wiped and will never ever wear doggie boots

Start a routine of wiping her paws EVERY time she comes in ...

yup...as soon as she comes in, wipe them. we have this mit that goes over your hand and it makes it a bit easier. also, have a cookie on hand, maybe that will distract her. my dh's old dog was 11 and let ME wipe her paws, which was HUGE, so casey (his dog's name, too ) should be fine after a couple of times!
