Murphey & Co Florists - Bayside

Has anyone here had experience with Murphey and Co. Florists in Bayside?

Our Priest recommended them as the florist they use at the church and also mentioned that he is a personal friend of theirs. He said they had some big Manhattan clients such as Estee Lauder. Just wondering if anyone has used them for a wedding, or met with them.

Hi Karen, I used to work for Murphy and Co in Bay Terrace Shopping Center in Bayside. Their work is excellent!!! You can see this as soon as you walk into the store. I have never met a person who takes such pride in his work...to the point that he (Kevin) is almost impossible to work for. Your priest is right. Murphy's has everything a big major florist has, except it is a family run business, which equals personal care and service. Murphy's employs some of NY's finest floral decorators. TO be honest, they can be a bit pricey, however for once you place your order you will have absolutely no worries about the quality of service. I personally have been ordering flowers there for funerals, parties or even just valentie's day and one reason i keep going back is that the quality is better than any other in the area and Kevin will design anything you heart DESRIE$$$$. Good Luck.

While I have never been to the outlet in NJ, I often go to the Tanger Outlets in Riverhead Long Island. Now the store is fairly big and both my fiance and my sister think that you should be able to find what you need on LI, especially since you will be there for your license...but just a suggestion. Good Luck!!!

Kevin is the person that our priest told us to talk to. I plan to call once I know when I'll be in town next.

Sounds like they may be too pricy for me though, since Flowers were an area I thought I'd cut back.
