anyone else having a battle over the music for the wedding? We are having difficulty picking out a wedding song... any suggestions

I have the same problem. Right now I'm on Youtube looking for ceremony music. Are you looking for your first dance song? There is a list somewhere. Try running a search.

We just relaxed and let it come to us. FH had some ideas and so did I, but none of them jived for both of us. One day in the car (hint take more car rides together or with gas listen to the radio at home together) a song came on and we both hummed/sung to it and said we liked it. We then had experiences where we would hear the song when we were thinking about each other or calling or being called by the other!! That helped us

I listened to a lot but I've only found 3 I like. I still need one more song for the bridal party.

We have completely opposie tastes in music, so we decided to tackle it right away and get it over with.
So we found some lists and sat with youtube going through every song in all the lists we had, when we got to one song, I just collapsed cried and cried through the whole song. FH was really touched he teared up to. It totally spoke to us, what we were and what we will become.
Lists + YouTube ... it never fails!

We would actually listen to the music channels on TV. I think they start in the 800's on IO cable.

Actually we are almost done picking music when I get it finalized i will post it ... just remember we picked stuf 'out of the box'
Good Luck in your searches girls picking music was one of the biggest pains in the butt for me!!!
Other than right now my left hand is COVERED I in black paint.. (found a gold basket in my asement perfect for my slipper basket and I am painting it black and silver glitter.... I am not painted...

We had a huge problem with this. DH and my music tastes are galaxies apart. I went though lists of wedding songs on different wedding websites and picked the ones I liked. He did the same. We went back and forth for months, and finally were able to settle on something.

We are doing finally found someone by Barbara Streisand and Bryan Adams...Although I wanted a 'newer' song....but the song fits us...
Weddingwire.com and Weddingglobe.com are 2 great websites for song lists :)
