Re: Music for CH
We didn't. FTR, our wedding was a Crest Hollow Country Club and had our cocktail hour outside. There are fountains in the CH area and we were told that they drown out any live musicians. Amplified music was not allowed. A strolling violinist or something would have been an option, but we decided not to go for it. Check with your hall regarding policies and logistics if you haven't already.

Re: Music for CH
Dj is playing a mix that we are giving him of Irish music/instrumental rock and basically anything not too insane that we like.

Re: Music for CH
just the dj. everyone will be to busy eating to listen to music. then we wanted to come in around the middle of our ch so even more people won't be paying attention to the music.

We're going to have music, either having our DJ play music but with a romantic theme, like sweet showtunes and Frank Sinatra love songs...

Yes...we are rock people so we are picking mellow rock songs to play during this time...and not too loud so people can mingle and hear one another.
