FH thinks one of my favorite songs is too 'depressing' so I shouldn't use it. And I don't want to do anything stereotypical. And the other song I wanted to use was in a movie, but the soundtrack was never released, and the song was done by a band that never released the song in the US so I actually can't find it anywhere???
Can a DJ take a song and somehow remove the words and just leave it as instrumental?
UPDATE - I am totally indebted to LoveRocks, who FM-ed me with an inking as to what song I was talking about -- and she walked down the aisle to that song and has that incredibly amazing download that is virtually not available anywhere! It is 1am and I am so excited I just woke up FH jumping around the bedroom like a crazy lady!

Hmm im not sure about making a song instrumental only...hve you thought about looking for a karaoke version of it? that way there will be no words?
For the bridesmaids we are using this song called 'my love's like a red red rose' and having Brad's cousin sing it...it is stunning
I didnt want to use the typical wedding march for me but brad wont have it any other way!

ME TOO ME TOO!! I am definitely walking down the aisle to the bridal march!! I can't wait! I think we are going to have the Bridal party walk in to Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring and then we are torn between the Wedding March (different from the Bridal March) and Trumpet Voluntary for the recession! SO EXCITED!

bridal march for me but i know the haprist or another musician may be able to play an instrumental of a song for you
our harpist played ebatles songs for us and even metallica- just to see how they would sound

We got married at the hall, and went the non-traditional route with the music.

i am having my cousin sing an original song for me to walk down the aisle to. i would like an instrumental played for my bridal party in the procession. i like the song but i am more in love with the melody...i told them they have to find it! i don't know if they can make it
