FH thinks one of my favorite songs is too 'depressing' so I shouldn't use it. And I don't want to do anything stereotypical. And the other song I wanted to use was in a movie, but the soundtrack was never released, and the song was done by a band that never released the song in the US so I actually can't find it anywhere???
Can a DJ take a song and somehow remove the words and just leave it as instrumental?
UPDATE - I am totally indebted to LoveRocks, who FM-ed me with an inking as to what song I was talking about -- and she walked down the aisle to that song and has that incredibly amazing download that is virtually not available anywhere! It is 1am and I am so excited I just woke up FH jumping around the bedroom like a crazy lady!

My sister came down the aisle to dancing queen done by a keyboardist and flute. I think I want to come down to Billy Joel's She's Always a Woman.
If you use a keyboard and flute, you can use any instrumental from your favorite song. When I walked down as a bm in my sister's wedding we didn't realize it till we were half way down the aisle they were playing sweet child of mine.

I always loved the traditional but, didnt think FH would like it. I want alot of Beatle songs played at the wedding so I thought be different and use 3 of their songs...... All You Need is Love- bridal party
Something(ended up being my parents wedding song)- for me
I Wanna Hold Your Hand- coming back up the isle
Well Fh wants me to walk down to Here Comes the Bride so everything else will stay the same but, my song.

well you know, whenever i do get married...ill be walking down the aisle to the instrumental version of lay lady lay by bob dylan...my dad loved bob dylan and since hes passed, it will be a nice tribute to him.
