im sure some pople do ...but im very anti organized dancing..i discussed it with the dj and he even tried to get u to do it but we stuck to the guns
I'm not having any of that stuff. FH says we need to have at least ONE group dance because people will think we're boring and no fun...to which I replied we ARE boring and no fun. I have to think about which one I'll 'allow' still.

I vetoed everything except YMCA because i love it and i can't help myself from doing it when i go to Yankee games lol.
We didn't have any of those, I put them on the do not play. No one missed them!
We didn't and the DJ was relieved when we said no lol. However, at the end of the night we made him do a Conga line (even though we hate them) because it was Sunday night and people started leaving...it surprisingly got everyone on the dance floor and most people ended up staying and kept them dancing after. He also made Sweet Caroline into sort of a group thing.
I said no to all group dances. I dont want any of them. My FMIL has begged me for the cotton eye joe and I told the DJ not to play it.. not even if she requests it. I told him if im feeling nice Ill request it for her. Im so mean. I just hate those dances.
Only ones I will consider are cha cha slide or electric slide.... Still on the fence...

It's really personal preference but there were only two things on my Do Not Play list and those were No Organized Dances and No Techno.
im not doing any of those except MAYBE the conga line...my family loves it so we'll see that night
