DH and I are meeting with our DJ soon. For months I keep saying 'I want this song to play' or 'this is a must play song'. I was just wondering what must have songs are on your playlists? Our what kind of genres are you having?

We are doing 60's, 70's, 80's.
We dont want Rap, hip hop, line dances.

We are meeting with our DJ in 3 weeks. Of course we want a mix of everything. We'll be having 2 or 3 line dances, but no rap. So far, I would definitly like Sweet Caroline, Dancing Queen, Runaround Sue, and You Shook Me All Night Long. I would also like a popular Italian song that's played at weddings, but cant remember the name off hand.

I am choosing my music based on my fiance and I and our families. We love to dance, so we are playing what we like, a lot of latin, some hip-hop, reggae, but absolutely no line dances ( i hate them). I want the music to be fun and young because thats what my fiance and are like and our older crowd likes to try to keep up! Good luck.
