I am no help because I am basically listing what songs I want for CH, dinner and a few must play, then letting the DJ fill in the gaps.

September Chicken dance Cotton eyed Joe Electric slide Paradise by the Dashboard Light
A lot of the typical music isn't for us.

No 70's disco/dance music - that means no 'I Will Survive,' no 'Last Dance' (or anything else by Donna Summer or any of those other big disco stars)
No heavy metal - that means no 'Battery' for you FH, or any of that other stuff you may like to hear
Also there is a particular Black Eyed Peas song that will be banned that evening as it is the ringtone of FH's last 'fling' before me (it was 4 dates, can't really call her an ex) and I will scream if he hears it and even mentions her.
