I am giving my photog a short must take list of unique pics. I hired them for a reason and trust their judgement...so I don't think I need to do their job by telling them to take a pic of me with my father or mother or obvious shots.

I don't think it's necessary to give a huge list and overwhelm them...give them the ones you really think they may need a reminder to get.

I think a photographer would get offended if someone gave them a large list especially if they have done this for years. So i'm just giving them a very short list of the most important pics that they may not think to take.

I have to say, i didnt give my photographer a must take list...and after the wedding DH and i were thinking hmmm we never got this picture or that picture...so a list is helpful. although - ill admit, i havent seen the proofs yet so maybe he got some pics and i just dont recall taking them since the day was so crazy!
