My 10/6 wedding ( long)

Hi Everyone-- I can't believe it is over !! Except for the morning rain that forced us to have the ceremony inside -- everything went GREAT. Here's my review: Flowerfield: What can I say ?? They are wonderful!! Everything was perfect . I am getting rave reviews from every guest I talk to . People are saying it is the best wedding they have ever been to !! Putting the ceremony inside at the last minute got me nervous-- but they did such a great job , you would have thought we planned it that way all along!! Avidon Photography: Avi was great -- got some nice candid shots and had our proofs ready for us when we got back from our honeymoon -- and they are sooooo nice!! He does a lot of photojournalism type photos -- we got about 900 proofs!! Sterling Music- We had a flute ensamble who were very good. They played for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Very good -- and professional. Flowers by Merav-- My center pieces/favors were the talk of the day ! ALl of the flowers were beautiful-- and she has great ideas. Tommy Tunes Dj -- We had DJ Mike and he was the best --- Played great music and kept the guests on the dance floor-- He was so nice and made us feel very comfortable!! Honeymoon : HAWAII !! We spent 2 weeks and I loved it so much -- I did not want to leave -- It was the best trip ever !! We went to Kauai and Maui and Vegas !! Well-- if I think of any more I'll post again -- Thank you all for your help and support !!! Good luck to all new brides!!

Hawaii

We are going on the same honeymoon in 10 days! Where did you stay each place and how would you rate the hotels/islands?

We stayed at the Hyatt in Kauai and it was beautiful--- The pool is so awesome and tropical-- I would rate it a 10!! In Maui we stayed at the Fairmont Kea Lani Resort and it was beyond excellent!! I would rate it off the scale!! We had a suite and it opened up right to a Lanai overlooking the beach! You will have so much fun! Be sure to go snorkeling in Maui and see the waterfalls in Kauai!! Have a great time!

re: my centerpieces

My centerpieces were 8 small and medium terracatta flower pot- guilded ( painted gold) filled with fall, and bright colored flowers and ivy. They broke apart and each couple took a pot for their favor. Everyone loved them !

Elle ... what did you think of the weather?

Elle, I just had to write to a fellow Oct 6th bride ... how crazy were you in the morning with that rain! I see you had to have your ceremony inside. My ceremony didn't start until 7:30 that night, but I can say that I was panicing (and praying) for the weather to clear, and just as they finished up my hair, the sun came out. I hope you had an incredible day nevertheless .. didn't it just fly by? :)
