My 12/7 Wedding Review
Im not sure I will ever figure out how to share pictures so I will start with my thoughts...
Hair and Makeup: Maggie and Jean at Lacombe in Port Jefferson. A. They were both wonderful. Maggie met me at the shop at 8:00 am and was patient as could be with me, fixing my hair until it was perfect.
Flowers: Ken and Evas Flower Cottage in Brentwood (a house vendor). A+ My flowers were more beautiful than I ever imagined. I had a red rose bouquet that had about 3-4 dozen roses in it. It stayed fresh all day and looked georgous!!!! My table centerpieces were red roses with christmas greens and were equally as beautiful.
Photos: Julia Studios (also a house vendor) (Dawn and Mitch) B+. They were very professional and patient with me as well. They were creative and artistic in their shooting. I think I wish they had done more candis shooting. I will let you know when i get my proofs.
Limos: Avanti (another house vendor) B. We had 2 limos (a 14 passenger to pick the girls up at my parents house and drop us off at the church and a 22 passenger Escalade). The driver that drove our limo was the biggest jerk. He was nasty and didnt even know where he was going.
Videographer: Bellarino. A. They were fabulous. They were so not intrusive and I believe they got great shots because every time I turned around they were there but werent bothering me.
And Finally the caterer RAPHAEL VINEYARD in Peconic: A+++++++. I can not rave about them enough. everything was incredibally perfect!!! The presentation of the food was incredible and the taste of everything was outstanding. People keep calling us to tell us how great the food was. It was a long trip out east for all of my guests but mostly everyone came (176 people) and everyone loved.
All in all the day was absolutely perfect and I would not change anything. It was everything I dreamed of and so much more. I am not going on my honeymoon until 12/23 (I teach) so I will post my reviews of Hawaii when I return in January.
