My 1st Make-Up Trial - with a photo...

My 1st Make-Up Trial - with a photo...

What to you all think? At first the eyes were not at all what I would wear and then she changed it a little as I suggested. I thought it looked far too much in person, but it doesn't seem that bad in the photo. I didn't book it yet and am a little uncertain if it's the look I want.

HONEST OPINIONS PLEASE

do you have any close-up pics?

i think the colors on the lips and cheeks look great, but i can't really tell what the eyes look like. what colors did she use? the eyes look nicely lined and very well-defined, i just can't make out the color of the shadow. my first impression is, maybe a little more 'oomph' on the eyes.

Thanks for the feedback. That's the only pic, I'm afraid. I kept looking at my eyes yesterday thinking the shadow was so bright (and very metallic-looking) and am surprised that it didn't come out in the pic. At first the shadow was a very light brown, almost peachy, all over, and then she defined it at the edges with an espresso color and used highligher under the brow.

The lipstick is the exact color I wear every day, so I would want to use something different for the wedding.

You have beautiful eyes. You look very natural and very pretty, I love the eyes and cheeks!

I think it looks very nice. I would maybe go a little bit darker with the eyes.

I think it looks very nice...not too much at all!!

Did anyone ever tell you you look like the actress Joan Allen? (I think that is her name)...she was in the movie The Contender (running to be female VP)

I think it looks nice, I like the lipstick color and blush, my only suggestion would be to maybe use some gloss on your lips and go w/ a darker eyeshadow color..you have beautiful blue eyes!! I think you can find a darker color to make them 'pop' more...hope that helps!

Thanks everyone! And for the nice comments

I don't know who Joan Allen is, but it's good to look like any actress

I think I'll have another trial before I make a decision.

i think brown tones would look gorgeous on the eyes! or maybe grays? you have unbelievable blue eyes (i am SO jealous of blue eyes - lol), so you should play them up as much as possible. i think she just needs to use more dramatic colors - if not, the makeup looks too 'everyday' (i had similar issues with my recent trial). since you wear the lipstick every day, how about something darker, or maybe more berry-toned?

do you have the winter 2005 martha stewart weddings mag? they have a makeup spread in it, where the model is fair with red hair, using different deep and light pinks. she looks gorgeous!! maybe check it out.

While I agree that your eyes are beautiful, would adding some brown tone down some of the brashness (if I am using the right word - ?)

i think you look very pretty! Personally, i would go a tad bit more dramatic on the eyes - a bit darker maybe...

feeling that the tones could be a bit more brown rather than pink-maybe even go in the peachy direction. and i agree, more on the eyes...your eyes are so blue! i would kill to have that color! (just kidding-not really!) i love the look almay put out with their i-intense series of shadows based on eye color.

Honestly, I don't like it at all. You look quite pale to me. I agree with those who suggested more on your eyes, but I'd add more blush as well.

Your eyes are stunning, but the makeup does nothing to draw attention to them.

You look great! Maybe adding a little more drama to give you that pop would work. Don't know how that could be done, maybe enhance your beautiful eyes! You want to stand out.

I have been so busy today that I've just read everyone's comments. Thanks so much for the advice.

I'll definitely check out Martha Stewart's mag.

I think I also need to try a few different make-up artists to find the best look.

You've all got great ideas

U have such nice skin, but its light. I would go a little darker on ur eyes, bc the pink makes the blush not look right...
