~*~My 1st QOTD - 10/5/09~*~

First I want to thank Letizia for choosing me!!!!! It's been a LONG time coming, and I'm so happy to finally be BOTW!!!!! Thank you so much!! And I have to say, your questions were so unique and fun and I hope my creativity this week can come half as close to yours!!!!

SoOoOoOooo for the first QOTD (which is SO LATE cuz of course the day I'm picked BOTW I couldn't get online until NOW lol)....

Besides your's and FH's opinions during the planning process, whose opinions do you most repsect and welcome? And whose could you really do without??

Okay, so sometimes I don't even really care for FH's opinions depending on what part of planning it is (i.e. Flowers!! which he really doesn't care to share anyway lol).

But I'd have to say I go to my parents (mom mostly) for opinions on EVERYTHING!!! Even if I end up going a different way than she suggests, I feel like I just HAVE to know what she thinks about everything we've been doing....so my parents are the most respected welcomed opinions for me. SOMETIMES, and i mean sometimes, FMIL...mostly when it comes to what she's paying for, otherwise I don't really ask. Also, someone else I go to alot for advice, or just to share planning ideas with is my Godmother...she is SO creative, and loves to hear all of the details!

The people I care least for their opinions are random people that aren't involved in the least!! Like people at work, who will tell me, 'what do you need that for?' or 'who cares, its only a few hours!' If I don't come to you specifically for advice, I really don't care if you don't agree with how I'm planning my wedding!!!

My mom has helped me out A LOT! She has lots of great ideas and an awesome sense of style so I truly value her opinion. As far as doing without someone's opinion, there is no one in particular right now (lucky me!)

I most respect and welcome my parents' opinions (after all, they're helping to pay!) and the opinions of fellow LIW girls.

I can do without FMIL's opinions. I just don't really talk to her about the wedding anymore; apparently it's going to be such a sinful event and people are going to be starving since it's all veggie that she's looking to book a second wedding for us. You know, to make up for the first one.

I guess I'd have to say my parents and FIL's. I guess also my sisters and FSIL and FBIL. I pretty much respect everyone's opinions, but whether or not I take them is a different story. But I've pretty much been running everything by them.

Least welcomed, I guess would just be random people.

CONGRATS on BOTW triplet!!!!!!!!

FH and I usually both talk about most of the aspects of the wedding, of course when it comes to flowers, chair bows and ceiling drapings, he can care less. I always turn to my mom and get her feedback as well as my sister, since she has been through this before. My friends also get asked some questions but the majority falls to FH (when he pays attention) my mom and sister. FMIL I kind of ask opinions for a few things since she has good ideas and I want her to feel like she is part of the planning as well

One of my cousins in Pittsburgh does favors and crafts for a living so for favor questions, table numbers, etc, I turn to her......OH and FSIL lives in Italy so I try to get her opinion here and there, although it can be difficult overseas.....

OF COURSE you have those people who VOICE their opinions meanwhile you haven't even asked for it, such as my aunts and cousins.......OR people at work who ask why I am getting this or that if it is only one day, etc......NOBODY asked you, thanks though!!

My mom's. ....She has been awesome she offers me her idea's and will tolerate mine. I don't always take her advice or idea's but I am glad she offers them and is so involved with me.

My Dad and Step-Mom have been really great too. They kinda know me and know I am gonna wanna do my own thing so they don't offer up the advice as often as my mom. But when I have a question they are really helpful.

Other than that, my BM's are great and I always appreciate their opinion. Even if I don't take it.

I'd have to say I really listen to my Mom, my sis (MOH) and my best friends opinions out of everyones. They've helped us out a lot. I could be really indecisive, so I just run something past them and it helps make my mind up.

The person who's opinion I could do without-i'd have to say my co-worker, who has an opinion about EVERYTHING, even when I don't ask for it

seriously...most of my family and friends offer advice and opinions that I kindly listen to but i really only TAKE advice and opinions from my LIW ladies and people that hae got married recently

I value the opinion of my parents and Anthony's parents - I could do without some of my BMs opinions - they have suggested some strange things!

I value my Mom's opinion and I go to her with almost every decision...even if we already made our decision I ask her what she thinks about it.

Most people don't really give me an opinion...but if FMIL all of a sudden decides to give her opinion I could do without it

they are my guides.

My mom and my sister. I know one opinion I could do without but that's another story.
