I hope everyone is having a great morning ( I am up bright and early to get ready for a field trip lol )
i'm so excited that i was finally picked to be *BOTW* -- thank you so much!
so, here is my first QOTD
lets say that the roles were reversed & it was typical for our FH's to do all the planning & stress out over little wedding planning details and we as brides kind of just sat back and relaxed....what do you think would be different at your wedding??
1. My FH would definitely have camo tux's -- 2. The reception would consist of a HUGE keg party in the back yard with a crap ton of alcohol, food that was cooked out on the grill, people showing up on four-wheelers, and no one dressed up. 3. nothing would match 4. 101 people wouldnt get invitations cause he'd forget 5. our dog would be involved at the church some how 6. we'd show up on four-wheelers instead of in limos.
im glad its the brides job to do 95% of the planning

haha. this is a funny question to think about.....
honestly, when FH puts his mind to something he can really execute quite well. and he a romantic so he has pulled off some great events before.
however.....i think he would probably book the hall, church, dj....and thats it. i dont think he would think twice about favors (unless he heard his mom or sister complaining) or any of those other details.
we spent a lot of time RH searching, so i know he was picky about that - needed to be nice with good food and service. i think our RH with a good DJ would satisfy him just fine.
im not even sure if he would stress about photo or video. he might just figure ppl take pics with digital cameras.
and as for invites...hmm...either phone calls, emails, or maybe the DIY Staples variety.
and...honestly...how upset would i be?? hmmm...as long as he DID hire photo/video, and i did have time to relax/pamper & look gorgeous for the day...idk...doesnt really sound THAT awful.
but screw that, we are now into details! photobooth, favors, bathroom baskets and all!!!

This is a great question! FH would probably have the RH, Church, Video,Photo. He would have the Met game on a tv in the background instead of music. And there would be no flowers, cake topper, toasting flutes or any of the little extras.

FH wants a really small wedding just on a small quiet beach somewhere. He would be in jeans and a band t-shirt, I would be in some tight black dress. A weezer-type band for music and hamburgers as the entree.

If I let FH plan our wedding it would be as follows:
Colors would be blue, white, and silver - Dallas Cowboys style
Music would be the Journey, Van Halen, and AC/DC cover bands
Invites would be e-vites
There would be no flowers
We would be getting some sort of roadster for a car instead of limos
And worst of all.......it would be catered by QUIZNOS! He's been saying for years how he wanted Quiznos at the wedding.
ETA: He'd be wearing jeans and a sweatshirt and he'd put me in the wedding gown from the November Rain video.....he keeps telling me how that's the hottest wedding dress ever.

If FH had to plan it...it would be booked the week before...b/c he is sooo not a planner and def a procrastinator. However, he would be very picky about the RH. He's a carpenter, and a perfectionist when it comes to his work, so if their molding or anything is shoddy, he rules it out.
Flowers would probably be from 7-11 b/c he thinks $3,000 for flowers in insane.
The colors would be different. He HATES brown, but I am insisting the girls wear brown. I dont care about his opinion in this case.
Everything else might be the same since we 100% agreed on music, photog etc

Ha! I like this question because I know that everything would change..
First off, the wedding wouldn't start being planned until the last minute, which means we wouldn't have the same RH, photo/video etc because they'd be all booked up. He would completely ignore flowers and invites.
He would have the groomsmens in tophats and coats and tails. Who knows what the bridesmaids would wear.
The wedding would be completely cocktail style, I am having a hard enough time telling him I want assigned seating.
Oh and the band would be the same, he actually picked this out for us.

his ferret would be involved. somehow.

This is a really funny question, because FH said to me 'So once we book the reception hall, we don't have to do anything else until the day before right?'
And he was serious. So if FH was doing most of the planning there would be:
1. No cake 2. No entertainment 3. No officiant there to marry us 4. No flowers 5. No invitations and hence no guests 6. No limos or transportation 7. No hotel rooms 8. No colors 9. No wedding attire 10. No payments made etc etc etc! you get the point!
But sports would certainly be on!

1. FH would have the wedding in late oct early nov with the leaves 2. all the colors would be fall colors 3. FH would be late to his own wedding 4. he would forget who is rsvp'ing 5. he would have a volleyball court on the golf course and play cornhole during cocktail

We would have the same RH ( we both loved it) Our colors would be white and blue as close to ice as possible We would have no favors, DIY invites BUT we would still have a fabulous cake lol. I think overall it would still be a great wedding, he has a lot of good ideas.

i think fh would have done a pretty good job... granted not as many of the crazy details, and it would def be pretty simple and even more traditional, but i think it would def turn out nice

Haha...if FH was planning this wedding, I would have NO idea where it was until 3 days prior because that is most likely when he would start planning it. We would most likely have no guests because he would forget to send out invitations or he would just blast out a huge email to everyone he knows. We would have it on a beach, not a church. He would be wearing shorts and a t-shirt and me in a simple sun dress.

lol, this is a good question.
If my FH was the main planner for the wedding:
-our cake would consist of flying saucers from Carvel surrounding the bottom of the cake -the cake topper would be the humorous 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' spy couple -we would have no flowers -there would be a video game station for the guys to play games -the music played would be completely inappropriate for children to listen to
i'm sure there are a lot of more outlandish ideas he's suggested for the wedding, but i can't remember all of them.

good question.. if i let fh plan our wedding the colors would be blue and orange met colors. he would have the cocktail hour and the v hour only. just put it this way it would be a total mess.
