I hope everyone is having a great morning ( I am up bright and early to get ready for a field trip lol )
i'm so excited that i was finally picked to be *BOTW* -- thank you so much!
so, here is my first QOTD
lets say that the roles were reversed & it was typical for our FH's to do all the planning & stress out over little wedding planning details and we as brides kind of just sat back and relaxed....what do you think would be different at your wedding??
1. My FH would definitely have camo tux's -- 2. The reception would consist of a HUGE keg party in the back yard with a crap ton of alcohol, food that was cooked out on the grill, people showing up on four-wheelers, and no one dressed up. 3. nothing would match 4. 101 people wouldnt get invitations cause he'd forget 5. our dog would be involved at the church some how 6. we'd show up on four-wheelers instead of in limos.
im glad its the brides job to do 95% of the planning

Congrats on BOTW!!!!!
well 1. He would be wearing sweatpants 2. We would have about 15 guests there 3. we would probably be driving ourselves he doesn't understand why we need limos (btw we live almost an HOUR from the church and RH) 4. The cake would be a cheesecake (yuck sorry just dont like it) 5. The food would be greasy nasty food.... and I am certain there would be White Castle burgers as a main entree' 6. Our entertainment would consist of only Boardy Barn music NOTHING ELSE
Fun question.... thank god we are the planners!!!

Probably nothing, FH is involved in planning pretty much the entire wedding so far.

oh my god....that is my WORST FEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!
EVERYTHING WOULD BE DIFFERENT.
FH has several male friends that we are close with and come over to our house and hang out. It's clearing not boys night as I'm always around and every so often the topic of the wedding comes up.....just to give you a taste
the other day the discussion was over men's wear and they decided it would be really COOL (yeah right!) if the men wore netting shirt with leather vests
another day it was all about the reception where they had decided that it would again be really COOL (yeah right) if they could have a keg of different beer in each room so that people could explore the mansion and taste different beers.....
HOW SAD!!!!!!!!!!!

hmmmmm....we prob would have settled for any place that had things on the menu that sounded yummy...he wouldnt think of all the little details that i do...i think nothing would get done until last minute...i think it would be a very bad thing hahahaha

i think fh would do pretty good on the major vendors...but he wouldn't pay attention to any of the little details that go on in a wedding....programs, monograms, color schemes, etc. It would probably still be a fun wedding just not have the whole 'look' I am going for!

If I let FH do the planning the.....
1. We would get married at city hall or in Las Vegas ASAP, like today. 2. We would have a reception at some nice restaurant with our families. 3. We would end up going on a cruise to Bermuda for our HM.
No church, no limos, no fancy dresses, no bridal party. Of course all the things I want.

SO, I just let my FH read my first QOTD & he said that I make him sound like a big hick w/ missing teeth who screws his sister...
so to make him feel better...
1. Hes not a hick -- just an all around country boy <3
2. He has all of his teeth -- and a very nice smile
3. He doesn't have a sister

Funny enough I think pretty much everything would be the same. FH is part of every little planning detail. I think the only thing I think he would add if I didn't have veto power would be cutting the cake with a light saber

He's got good taste with everything so I don't think the clothes and decor would be too bad but the colors might not match...he's horrible at that!! lol

I wish I had time to read all the responses, I agree a great question
So, we would have all vendors who his friends recommended because their cousins best friend father used them or is a hairstylist himself, etc. This is a definate!
We probally wouldnt have flowers.
We would overpay for everythingggg!
Invites would be on the phone and he would tell his boys that its okay to respond the day before, oh and for everyone to bring their kids, their dogs, who knows what.
Basically we would be getting married in the rec room of a gym or a hall (which is not to offend anyone its just that, he wouldnt do this because of budget, he would do this because he just wouldnt bother to find some place else)
Basically we would just have a dj and some catered food from like a pizza place and he wouldnt even know where to begin with the actual ceremony.
I feel bad saying all this but its 300% true, lol.

And he was serious. So if FH was doing most of the planning there would be:
1. No cake 2. No entertainment 3. No officiant there to marry us 4. No flowers 5. No invitations and hence no guests 6. No limos or transportation 7. No hotel rooms 8. No colors 9. No wedding attire 10. No payments made etc etc etc! you get the point!
But sports would certainly be on!
Im glad mine is not the only one. Lol, but its okay, I love planning it and wouldnt every relinquish control to him anyway even if I did think he would do stuff right

i'm not really sure -- he says he never has anything to say -- he lurks sometimes though lol
