My 6/13/03 wedding review (LONG)....

Hi everyone - I just want to thank you all for your help in planning my wedding...it really makes a difference to be able to get all of your input! Thanks again!!!!

The weather yesterday was pretty crappy, but I actually did not mind it at all! It was cooler out and not humid at all, so that was good for everyone's hair! Also, the rain held out until after my ceremony, so I was able to take a few pics outside at the church and the North Ritz Club.

Unfortunately I got a pretty bad suburn one week earlier and got sun poisoning...my whole chest was very burned and peeling, even blistered in some parts !(and my dress was of course low cut). I was very self conscious of it the whole night, and there was nothing that could be done to cover it up. PLEASE - do not try and get a tan one week before your wedding if you are normally pale-skinned!!!! BUT - I still managed to have a good time...It is amazing how fast the day goes by!!!! Here are my vendor reviews:

North Ritz Club - A++++++ - I can't say enough great things - that place is SO amazing! So many people have called saying that it was the best wedding they ever went to! There was so much food, and it was all delicious! The service is out of this world - some said that the wait staff was almost TOO attentive! The place was absolutely perfect!

Wicks Florist - A++++++ - WOW = I cannot believe how perfect and beautiful the flowers were - I had ALL peonies (bouquets and centerpieces), and they came out exactly as I wanted!

Royalty Limo - A++++++ - They arrived early, the drivers were really nice and helpful - they took care of everything! The cars were beautiful and clean.

Touch of Class DJ - C - The dance floor was full ALL NIGHT - everyone thought the DJ (Joe) was great. I give them a C because they completely disregarded the play list that I gave them - when I hired them I told them that it was very important to me to have the music that I picked out played. They hardly played any of my songs! They even played a Celine Dion song when I specifically indicated NO CELINE DION! AND, they made a rude comment to my Mom when she requested a song.

V&V Video (Howard Beach) - A+++++++++ - Vinny was AWESOME! He really knows what he is doing. My Brother-in-law used him last year - their video was the most amazing one I had ever seen. Vinny does such wonderful work - I highly recommend him.

Maximus Salon in Merrick - A++++++ = They did all of the BMs and mothers hair and make-up as well - everyone looked gorgeous! My makeup looked the same as 2AM as it did when they did it at 11AM! I never touched up anything but my lipstick the entire night. And I LOVED my hair - I highly recommend William - he is the best! And they were super helpful with trying to cover up my peeling sunburn to no avail....

That is all for now - We are off to Vegas and Cabo tomorrow morning - yippee!
