Brianna will be 6 this Friday and she told me the other day that she saw her 'daddy's daddy in the clouds watching us drive'
FH's father past away in 1983 and her nor I ever met him..FH doesnt really even remember to him to much... she said she knew it was him bc she saw a pic of him in daddys house and the 'ghost in the cloud' looked just like daddy..
then she tells me that I wasn't her 'first' mother... she was born on a farm and her 'first' mother died while having her and then I became her mom... she said her 'first' mom had black hair(i'm blonde) and she had 6 brothers(Brianna has 1 sister named Mikayla)
I'm a little weary about this... Just wanted to share...any ideas or suggestions..?

They say that children can be really in-tune with paranormal stuff.... maybe you should take her to see someone in that field.

Wow, I'd say she has some imagination, but I have a 6 year old son with a wild one. Sounds like she may have a 'gift' of some sort. That would freak me out a bit.

You know what, I used to do this to my mother. She and my grandmother or aunts would be talking about something and I'd join in (when I was really little - probably 3-4) with other information that I shouldn't have known. And my mother was like 'where did you hear that?'. And I said 'Nana Gerald told me.' Except Nana Gerald (my great-grandmother) died like 20 years before I was born. My mother would say 'You never even met Nana Gerald' and I replied 'I know that (duh!) - she told me in Heaven.'
Of course, my grandfather used to say that was how we knew it was fake because 'that old bat never made it to heaven.'
Not sure if that helps but I'm totally fine and I don't have any more dealings with the paranormal. I can see why it would freak you out a little but seriously, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I agree. I can write a book on the stories I've heard of kids I actually know who've experienced these kinds of apparitions.
Kids (no matter how much we swear there is no way they could be) are super-in-tune to things...Don't worry...They tune out as they get closer to their teenage years

I think its kinda cool actaully, I'd want to know more. . .if it's tru that kids cansnes theses things it a shame that they loose it.
but it could just be a phase, or an active imagination.

Wow, its wierd I came upon this post today. I am reading this REALLY good book about past lives. It's called Only Love is Real, by Brian L. Weiss. It's a true story about a pysciatrist who does past life regressions. Well he has too people in his office at the same time (not the same app't), and they realize that they are soulmates many times, in many different lifetimes. He also wrote another book regarding a woman, Catherine about her past lives that were TRULY AMAZING, I don't want to give it away.
Anyway, I really believe that children when they do this, really are remembering a past life. I always remember from my childhood, being in a manger type thing and my parents were looking down on me in really anceint clothing. It obviously wasn't this life...
Really something to think about. Please don't discourage her, let her tell you more!! I don't think its imagination!
WOW!

That is so weird... definitely have her tell you more and see if you can prove that anything she tells you is true... not sure how you would do that but it's worth a shot... She could be the next Jon Edwards!
Good Luck!

My younger brother used to tell us things that he saw when he was an 'angel'. He said he used to watch us before he was born.

WOW. I'm totally at a loss. I'd ask her as many questions as I could, if I were you. Find out where it's coming from and if she's seeing or hearing anything else that may be scaring her at all, for her own well-being. Maybe you can talk to a child psychologist

Yes but don't force her either. Don't make a big deal out of what she tells you. Don't make it a non-issue either but don't harp on it or she's going to wonder why it's a big deal.
I used to get A LOT of deja'vu when I was younger. They say deja'vu's are actually memories of a prior life. We would go somewhere and I would say 'I've been here before' and they'd say 'no you never have'. I've never heard that children are supposedly 'in tune' with paranormal things, but it does make sense in a way - their minds are not cluttered with all the things we think about in our adult lives and those visions come through quicker.

I've also read this. I have two stories:
My friend has had similar experiences with her 3 year old son. He'll stand in the hallway looking into a bedroom as if someone is there and carry on a conversatin in jibberish just as naturally as you and I would converse. He gets so immersed in whatever is happening that he needs to be shaken (gently of course) to snap out of it. Her pediatrician said to catch it on video tape and he'd take a look.
My brother admitted in his teens that as a toddler he saw a woman float down our hallway and through the kitchen wall (where a doorway used to be). He admitted this while he, my mom and I were at a palm reader and the guy asked him about it. He turned white and told us about it.
Anyone have goose bumps now????

Re: my 6 year old daughter is freakin' me out
I pretty much let her go with it...When she wants to talk about it...I let her tell me her stories, but I dont question her to much...I dont want to upset her..
the 2 stories that I shared are the 2 that I find most interesting... she has told more stories though.. one day we went to the cemetery to visit my grandfathers grave... we pull up and before we even get out of the car...she ask me 'who is that girl by Pap-Pap's grave?' (we called my grandfather pap-pap) I looked over and didnt see anyone......she even said her name-Carolyn...I go to the grave...and the grave next to my grandfather is Carolyn Hubbert...and the dates on the tomb indicate that she was about 10 years old.
I think I may have the next sixth sense here.
ETA: she is almost 6 years old and there is no way she could read the name onthe grave....JMO
