Jvs-- Sounds like an amazing day..I have a question on Old Westbury gardens-- how long did you need for pics there?
If we can;t get in to our venue until 5 30 (which will be the case if they have a Sat. day affair) we were thinking of heading there for an hour or so. Is it worth it for an hour?? I hear you need to walk through the grounds a lot.
Thanks!

randella - They give you a 1 & 1/2 hour time slot. The walking depends on how many different parts of the garden you take pictures in. The Walled Garden is gorgeous, and your limo can drop you off right by it (the other cars park a little farther away). I think you can definitely get a lot of great shots in an hour. Other parts of the garden commonly used for pics are the South Lawn & Terrace, the Rose Garden, and the Boxwood Garden. We were running late and only had time for the walled garden and the south lawn & terrace. If you definitely want to have your pics there, I would book them sooner rather than later b/c they're pretty popular!

thanks.. we will go there as a contigency if we can't get into the Carltun-- makes it tricky if they are so popular and we won't know far enough in advance. Thanks for the tips though!
ETA: Your pics look great and you look beautiful.. You guys look so happy!
