Hi guys! Well I am back from Hawaii and although I have never been a huge 'poster' unless I was adament about something, I also felt that these brides' wedding reviews were extremely helpful, so feel it is only my duty now as a new 'MRS.' to do so as well!
The weather was amazing and made everything as I always dreamed of and so I was very pleased I think with everything overall just because of that. So yes, it was the day I had always hoped and prayed for!
Reception: FOX HOLLOW Score: 10
My 'new' banquet mgr. Mike Merrill ensured my days would go exactly as planned and that it did! I left detailed instructions on what to do with this, that, and the other thing, and it was done to a tee! The reason I say 'new' is bc my original mgr. who I was to work with, didn't seem as though he wanted to WORK WITH ME! He shouldn't be in the business but that is a whole other story... My maitre d' who is also named Mike was great too. Made sure everything ran as planned. My bridal attendant was always there for me and made sure that me and my new hubby were never left empty handed - or empty on the table at least! They also provided the same service to the tables with close family members. It's definitely worth paying for service I have learned! Everything was EXCELLENT.
DJ / MC: BODY ROCK ENTERTAINMENT Score: 9.5
Sergio (MC) mastered everything that night. People were raving about how great he performed but also keeping it elegant and not going 'cheesey!' The only thing I wasn't too happy with was that my entrance song was wrong (cd froze up is what I was told, and granted things DO happen..) but aslo that one song on my DO NOT PLAY LIST was played. I wouldn't care too much about that had it not been the song that was my father and mothers' wedding song, and they are divorced! I couldn't stress out though and let it ruin my night. Thumbs up to them!
Photo / Video: JOVON Score: 10
Cesar (photojournalist) and John C. (traditonal) were awesome! Although I haven't seen the proofs yet, I am sure they got just about everything! Joe, our videographer seemed very freindly as well although I didn't interact with him too much.
Limousines: AC Regency Score: 10
They were great! I was a little skeptical at first when we booked them only bc they are very laid back and nonchalant about things, but they were not only timely but even early! We also hit some mega-traffic and our driver knew lots of back roads which helped tremendously. We got to the hall 15 min before our cocktail hr was ending!
LI Paramount: Classical painist for the cocktail hr. But as I said before, with 15 minutes to spare, all I oculd tell you is that I 'heard' they were good thru family and friends!
Hope this helps ladies and good luck with everything!

You look stunning! Beautiful pictures. Congratulations!By the way I recognize the church (St. Joan of Arc) right? I'm curious...how did you handle the parking situation with your guests??? Did you mention it to them beforehand..I'm getting married at United Methodist across the street from your church.

Re: My 9/6 Wedding PICS - I hope it works!
Thanks MarcellaBella! I could't figure it out!!!!So my hair was done all up with a front sweep and the back was kinda loopy, but they were criss crossed as opposed to very high and 'bubbly' I guess. I am going to try to find a ood pic and I'll post it for you Sonistef.
The flowergirl's dress... I found that dress at David's Bridal on sale for like $70! I refused to buy her dress, or have my aunt buy her dress for the asking price of $250 - $300 in Bridal Reflections because there was really nothing to it. It was a white satin shell style top with an organza bottom with tiny pearl applique. So I checked around and found a very similar one in David's for nothing. The dress in both places was all white. The matching red sash was extra material from my bridesmaids' dresses and my girlfriend who is good with that stuff sewed it on for me. I got my dress and my BM's dresses at Bridal Reflections in Carle Pl. Definitely ask to keep the extra material fromthe dresses bc you could always use it for minor detailing like making a matching handbad, etc. That was the original plan, but each dress didn't give enough extra material to do that. I hope I answered all your questions!
