my 9/8/07 wedding at JT
i dont really know how to do the review so until i figure it out here is a brief review
my dress- princess bridals in farmingdale.... so i have read a ton of neg reviews on them but i still went there to check it out and they ended up having the dress i thought i wanted... a few months later i found THE dress and they worked with my and where able to change my order....their customer service isnt the greatest but what place is really perfect? all in all my dress was perfect and alterations came out great. i got my invitations and favors from la favorita in williston park, both were so nice, we did a dish that had sections for serving, they were wrapped beautifully!
makeup- Marie Katz, what can i say? she is so sweet and did such an amazing job on not just me but my mother and 3 bms, my makeup stayed on all night and looked perfect
hair-kasey was great, i had a trial done with my hair curly and i then decided i wanted it straight it came out so simple and beautiful, my hair stayed in place all night and wearing it straight was def the right choice
flowers- verbana designs, my bo k was beautiful and so were the bms/jr bms but their boks got limp by the time of the reception, for centerpieces i wanted acandle with rose petals in aglass piece , and voltives surrounding, i was a little diappointed because the size of the vases were a little on the small size they looked ok.
photo/video- Artisan.....Chuck is absolutly amazing, he made me so comfortable and was so helpful, words cant explain how much i loved him, he was on time but not in anyones way ever, he took every pics asked he made me feel like the most beautiful person. i fell in love with him and his work the second i met him and i am so happy he was my photographer the day of my wedding.. so many people raved about how great he was at the wedding, his crew was just amazing. i didnt even get my pics yet and i love him this much.
dj- high voltage.... another complete rave.... VInny was on point from cocktail hr till the end he was amazing, he played everything we wanted to hear, took no requests without asking me or DH, he helped us pick our entrance songs and it was great, the dance floor was packed all night so many people asked me at the wedding and after for his card....he made my reception so much fun i danced all night and i am not a dancer lol......i am trying to plan some sort of party just so i can use him again, i couldnt thank him enough for being so greAT.
limos- stars and stripes they were ontime, clean the owner Tom helped out so much at the church... had a few problems with one driver but all in all they were good and tom really helped getting things organized at the church......
the church- St Raphaels in east meadow- it was beautiful and the deacon was great and did a beautiful ceromony
Now the reception hall
Jericho Terrace- perfect amazing beautiful! the food was unbelievable i cant tell you how many raves there were, there was soooo much food at cocktail hour you could feed a large army and the martini bar was soo nice! we got there 1.5 hrs early and took pics right away early guests got to hang out in the lounge area, the bridal suite was stocked with food. i was in the penthouse room it was sooo beautiful and romantic looking i loved it! the course were so nice and the food was delicious i wish i was able to eat more (i only picked) , vienesee hour was sick there was everything cookies, cakes, ice cream, sufle, zeppolies, choc fountain, pastries of all kinds fruit, coffees everything you can think of! service was great the guests were attended to at all times always with a full glass. i had tino as my maitd and jeanette and stacy as my bridal attendants-those girls were unreal i never felt like a princess more than that night i always had a drink, my flowers held my dress bustles my shoes put on, they even cut my food they were sooo great i loved them. JT really was outstanding the bartenders, staff, appearence, service everything was more than perfectm every JT girl you dont have anything to worry about
