My AMAZING Shower was on Saturday! (OK, now with a few Pics!)
My shower was this past Saturday at Milleridge Inn It was thrown by my DAWNIE, my mother and my Bridal Party.
It was at Milleridge Inn Carriage House and I am still shocked at how beautifully everything turned out. It was originally scheduled for 12/06, but it was rescheduled due to the the snow. (I will leave it to DAWNIE to tell the story, I am not supposed to know about any of these things!) They kept the original Christmas theme from the first shower and my Wishing Well were all ornaments instead of the traditional kitchen accessories.
I can not believe how many people showed, and I was sooooooooooo happy to see EROXGIRL, SWAGS1016, DEANNA, LISA04 and JUSTaBM there. I will try and post some of the pictures tonight, and if any o f you girls have pics, can you please post them here and then email them to me???
Whoever booked the Carriage House for there wedding, you can sleep soundly at night. They were so accomodating and the MD (who's name we didn't get) bent over backwards to make sure that I everything went smoothly. I was so nervous (I hate being teh center of attention) and he was so calm that it made me feel better. He knew I was too nervous to eat, so he packed up two meals for Brian and I and had Brian take them home so we could eat them later. (I never did get to eat it, the food was so good~according to Brian~he just HAD to try the veal after he finished the chicken!)
My favors were jam jars and I received so many gifts we had 5 vehicles hauling them back to my mothers.
My only complaint over the whole shower event was my FORTUNOFF registry.![]()
I went there to make some returns (I had three woks and two sets of toasting flutes and two sets of cake knives.) THEY WERE SO RUDE! THEY WERE SO SNOTTY! THEY WERE SO IGNORANT! Please~if one more person told me to go to Department 63, I was going to kick them. WHERE THE HECK IS DEPARTMENT 63???? If you don't know where exactly it is, how the h*ll am I going to know???? 9 different cashiers and accomodation desks in total to return two woks and two Lenox pieces. I am writing a letter to their corporate office today. They were just so rude!
