stacy/my aruba review

hey stacy, that wasn't you with the wedding veil on at the airport was it??? Did you feel like, you were still so overwhelmed you couldn't even seek people out?? I kept standing there like, stacy is somewhere on this flight, I wonder where? We should have told each other our last names and where we were staying so we could have gotten together for a drink! I'm glad you liked aruba, we did too, great weather, the all inclusive at the Divi was pretty decent, we went out to the French Steakhouse (7/10), Madame Jeannettes (8/10) and the waterfront crab house which surprised me bc I hadn't heard anything about it, was 10/10. We lost every night in the casino....the beach and pool were great, we rented a jeep one day and a scooter one day, also snorkled 2-3 times, went to baby beach too, went horseback riding (ouch, do this on your last day and bring jeans!) and a great 6 hour sail one day to a snorkle site with Tranquillo (very personal and friendly, like you've hired a private sailboat) we also did a sunset cruise with them which was great. The Divi AI was really very good for an AI breakfast there was nothing more you could even want, we didn't do lunch much, but the bar has brick oven pizza's and grilled sandwiches that are pretty good, and the two restaurants were ok 6/10 and 8/10). All in all we had a nice time. I will say the people there are no where near as friendly and accomadating as they were 8 years ago, but still better than say the bahamas or jamaica. also, I love the fact that it is perfectly safe to travel all over outside the resorts at night. Anyway stac, talk to you soon!

Re: stacy/my aruba review

Hey Deb! I thought about you too at the airport but EVERYONE was a honeymooner! No, that was NOT me with the veil on, we thought that girl was wacko, LOL! We had a great time...I have never been to a caribbean island before so maybe I am not a good judge at how beautiful this was compared to others but I absolutely LOVED it. We went to El Gaucho (which was good, maybe not the best, I heard other places were better though), Alfredo's (good italian), Captain's Table, El Piscadore (all in La Cabana), and the Waterfront too. We did the Kuku Kunuko bus (crazy drinking fun!), Baby Beach, rented wave runners, and shopped! We knew we were going back so we will do the natural bridge and the natural pool maybe then (although I heard these were no big deal either)! I can't believe it is all over!!
