Oh boy! I am trying! Some of you ladies gave me some great idea, but I am just not that creative. this is what I have come up with so far! I made these on FH's MAC Oye Vei!!! I am a PC girl, and boy this was a real pain in the butt!!! lol! let me know what you think

Thanks ladies!!!!!!! I can't believe how not artistic I am!!! But I have to agree with you all! I like number 2 and 3 the best! I had it out with FH last night because he is an artist! and He did not make it as I had asked him months ago!!!! UGH!!!!! lol!!! Well, I am off of work today, perhaps I will try and make a few more, lol!!! Thank you all for all your help and for your great Ideas!!!!!

i definitely like the 2nd one!! I just made my first attempt at a monogram the other day. it came out OK. I have to play around with it. I'm also having trouble downloading nicer fonts! I just have to keep trying!!!

They are all very nice but my favorite is #2. How do you get them to show up so nice on your post? I tried doing mine and you could hardly see it...

I have to admit, i have no artistic ability, and so yesterday I asked FH to show me how to use Adobe Illistrator so I could attempt to make the monograms on his MAC. That worked nicely but I found that it was very hard too work with (mostly because I am not a MAC person) So I started playing with Power Point and Publisher. I found that they both worked best. I used Publisher. Here is a great instructions thread on how to make a monogram:

dumb question....I downloaded some fonts from dafont but I can't figure out how to import them into microsoft word....any ideas??

yes!!! I learned how to do this last night make sure that when you download the fonts you save them in local drive C:/ under windows file and then the fonts file (C:/ --->windows ----->Fonts) Once you have downloaded the fonts you want, you go to the fonts folder(open it) and on the tool bar you need to click 'file' then 'install new fonts' once the 'add fonts box' go to the folders section and click the windows folder then fonts folder then (you have to scroll down to it) the double click each downloaded folder which will add the the font to the list of fonts. then click ok! when you open any of the applications that uses fonts, you will now have it added to your list of fonts. HTH!!! I know it sounds confusing!!!! but once you do it once you will able to do it for every new font you download!!!

I figured out from your info how to upload fonts and tried one momgram which is on the menu that I just tried to make...please look in my album and see what you think!
