I can't believe it. Her home aide was killed yesterday in an auto/freezing accident and they came to my Aunt's house to interview her! We are so upset...she has Alzheimers i think it is sooo rude that they did that!

OMG I heard about that on the news....that is so sad. I hope I don't offend anyone's profession, but reporters can be spineless sometimes.

Yup that was her. It is a more involve story then they portray. But i met the woman and her family about a month ago..I feel soo bad for them.

I am soory too...but what they did was really wrong. They knew she MUST have been a sick woman if she had a health aide. ANd for them to come into my Aunts home like that really upset my family.

my Aunt? Yeah she is... but i heard that she looks horrible. I haven't seen it yet. She is really far into the Alzheimers.. so it is really upsetting to see her like that

I saw it on the News 12 website. I think in cases of death it is horrible for them to speak to anyone in mouring. I am sorry that your Aunt was put in that position.

My Aunt doesn't even remember much of the interview..it is her family that is upset.

thanks Allure..we are ok... But we have to find another health aide for my Aunt. So for now we are taking turns going to stay with her.

I'm sorry that happened!
That was really really wrong of the reporters. They should have found out what was wrong with the person first before interviewing them.
I hope she is OK and that the family of the aide is alright too.

We have been talking with her family...they are a mess right now...and we feel so bad for their loss. It was a real tragedy...She was a very nice woman.
Right now it is very difficult for my Aunt. SHe is not used to all her family in her house looking after her everyday. But she will be going to Florida to be near her son soon
