My bachelor party nightmare!

Hi ladies (and gentlemen- now that we have a few fine grooms to be joining us)

I just wanted to tell you all about my wonderful weekend while my FH was out at this BP weekend. Well, to say the least, I was not happy about him going- as most of us here are- but I made the best of it by gettig together with my girlfriends (and one of my best guy friends who didn't go to the BP). My FH left Fri. night right from work and my MOH came to meet me for happy hour. My friends and I planned to get together Sat. night as well to help take my mind off of it (this was the night the 'entertainment' was coming for the men). I decided to pack a bag and stay at our new house during the afternoon, meet up with my friends later on, and then return to my house to sleep. Well, I got to my house, settled into bed to watch a girlie movie on TV when I saw a spider. I got up, grabbed a tissue, got the spider and went to flush him down the toilet. Well, the toilet backed up and water kept coming out of it causing a flood all over the bathroom floor and into our bedroom. I grabbed a towel, called my parents- who weren't home, and then called my FH on his cell. He was in the middle of a golf game and I was hysterical crying. He told me to go and find the water shutoff and shut off all the water to the house (the one by the toilet wouldn't turn). Well, I got downstairs (the bathroom is upstairs) and discovered that the water was pouring down from the ceiling into the kitchen! I managed to shut off the water and now I was left with a giant mess to clean up. My FH told me to call his father - which I did, but he couldn't come by until 5:30 and it was only 12:00. I called my MOH, who came over to help me clean and get things in order (I had to toss ALL of our food since the water seeped into the cabinet and poured out when we opened it). I ended up going to her house and waited until my FFIL could come by. He managed to fix the toilet, I disinfected everything, hopped into a shower, and met my friends. My MOH's husband had come home- he was at the BP and said he didn't want to stay for the strippers. He wanted to join us and we figured the more the merrier. Well, to help me get my mind off my FH (I was mad that he didn't even call me after his game of golf to see how things were) my friends started talking about my BP. Well, my MOH's husband decided that he now wants to come along to my BP becasue he is nervous. We are only going out to dinner in little italy and then to culture club- no strip clubs for me. All this time he has been telling me not to worry about the 'entertainment' my FH will be seeing that night because it's harmless and just a right of passage, and now he's giving me a double standard! I shouldn't worry about the 'guys night' and it's ok for him to worry about us, even if there's no strippers involved

I just don't get it! We all refused to have him tag along and he is now fighting with his wife (my MOH).

I know one day I'll look back at this and just laugh. I'm just glad this weekend's over and now things will be back to normal.

NOTICE HOW THE GIRLS ALWAYS GET SHAFTED WHEN IT COMES TO THE BP WELL I AM GLAD THAT YOU MADE THE BEST OF IT. YOU SOUND LIKE A VERY POSITIVE PERSON AND THAT IS GREAT

Oh geez!! When it rains it pours!! I'm so sorry that happened at the house...wish I lived closer - I would have helped you clean it up!

As for the BP, you know what - your MOH's husband will get over it. Some guys tend to be protective over women, and that's probably how he's feeling right now. As for your FH - I know how hard it was for you to get thru the weekend, but in the end I'm sure it was harmless fun. And hallelujah - it's OVER! I'll stop by tomorrow to talk...

Thank you ladies! I'm starting to laugh about it allready. It's just my luck. Everything's back to normal now and my sweet FH took me out to dinner since I had a rough night. His night didn't go so well either. That's just another long story.

Marnles: I'll see you tomorrow. We'll laugh at all of this then. What has been going on lately in my life? The embarassing CVS story and now this! All in the same week! AHHHHHHHH!

OMG! This is too much! Are you ready for a laugh?

I'm a Special Ed. first grade teacher. I live and work in the same town, so you can imagine how many times I run into students. Well, one day right after school I needed to stop at CVS and pick up a few things. I grabbed a basket and began shopping, when I heard~ There's your teacher! Go Get her! I turn around to see one of my students running towards me. He looks into my basket and begins to shout 'Miss Kelly has Tampons!' 'Miss Kelly is buying Tampons!' 'Miss Kelly has tampons, unscentd, multipack!' Over and over! I was mortified! His mother did nothing to shut him up and just continued to talk with me.

Some more background info:
This student is autistic and can read (decode) on a 4th grade level.

Are all of you rolling on the floor now? I told my friends at school and they still can't stop laughing at my embarassing moment! Hope you enjoyed it!
