My Bachelorette Party!!!! w/ Pics....non-embarassing ones lol
So as I suspected on Friday in this thread my bachelorette party was Saturday night!!!
When we walked out of my friends house to go to 'dinner' there was a limo waiting with my sister, my friend Amanda and my other sister Jaclyn who, when I walked up to the limo pushed balloons out the window a la Mr. Big in Carrie's b-day episode, it was too cute. Anyway, they planned a 'sex and the city' themed tour/party around the city. Due to Friday night traffic I was friggin wasted before we even got to the first stop![]()
which was Carrie's stoop on Perry St. It was pretty cool since I'd never been there before, but it was a building that I've seen a million of so.....yeah. While on the way there they gave me an envelope with 5 places and I had to pick three out of the five to go to, they were: Tao, Payard Patiesserie, Tortilla Flats, Slate & Monkey Bar.
We went to Payard first (after Carrie's stoop) because it closed first. We had dessert, which was out of this friggin world!! I had dark chocolate souffle with pistachio ice cream, YUM! Then we headed to Monkey Bar which I totally want to go back to because the appetizers were awesome. We also went to the Pleasure Chest, which was drunken hilarious fun. My friend fingered a fake vagina and I pissed off a gay man because I kissed his boyfriend.![]()
We ended the night at Tortilla Flats which was pretty damn cool, I couldn't eat anymore tho so they wrapped up my food which I enjoyed the next day. The atmosphere there was super fun (we wished we'd gone there earlier in the night) and there were like 2 other brides having their bachelorette parties. We had lots of margarita's and embarassing moments ensued. ![]()
After that we hopped in the limo and back to my friends house where we drank some more and eventually went home at like 5a.
All in all it was awesome!! My bridesmaids and friends who planned it are awesome and I couldn't have asked for a more fun night, although I DO wish I could remember more of it.![]()
