My beautiful boy...W/ADDED PICTURES!!!!

...is SEVEN months old TODAY! I can hardly believe it! I have very overwhelming feelings about this today, and have been very 'clingy' to my little boy. I want to hold him as much as possible. Soon, I will miss having a baby. He's starting to assert his independence and wants to explore everything. He is about to crawl at any moment, and it seems like he wants to talk to us so badly. It is all happening so fast that I have found the first months of motherhood to be a complete emotional rollercoaster! I am so proud of him, I cannot find the words. He is my JOY!

For the first time in a really long time, I am truly looking forward to Christmas b/c he is here with us. God has blessed my life with many wonderful family members and friends, but he has also sent me two angels - my husband and my son - and I could not be more grateful.

Claud, your post was soooo sweet and gave me the fuzzy wuzzy's !!
I didnt know Paul was born on the 9th ! So was John Anthony ! (He's 2 months today !)
and its funny because today I've been kissing him and holding him ALL DAYYYYYYYYYYY. and I emailed DH at work saying 'I am SOOOOO in love with our son' and he wrote back 'youre not the only one' LOL

There are some days like today where I can hug him, smell him, kiss him and hold him the ENTIRE DAY !!!!!!

I cant wait to meet Paul ! Give him big smooches for me !!

Claud, I am not a mother yet but will ttc right after the wedding. Yur post made me teary eyed as well about how much love you have for your ds. Cherish every moment w/ him, time goes by too quick.

Claud .. I too got goose bumps while reading your post. My son is 2 1/2 and I STILL can't get enough of him. I am always calling him my angel sent from heaven.

I know exactly how you feel. My 'baby boy' just turned 16 and I feel soooo blessed. It's strange!!!

I just turned 40, but I remember the day he was born as if it were yesterday. IT WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE.

Claud- As 2000 said that feeling doesn't go away!!! Every now & then (at least 10 times a week) I look at Patrick & get teary eyed!! He's the best gift God could have given me!
And the baby stage doesn't last long enough!! I miss it!! But I do love that if I ask for a hug or a kiss he comes running & gives them to me!

Thank you ALL for your sweet and kind words. Yesterday was very hard for me, I'm not really sure why. I cried so hard last night after putting Paul to bed. He fell asleep in my arms, and I swear he looked exactly like he did when he fell asleep in my arms at 1 month old! I didn't want to put him down!

Thanks for helping me celebrate this amazing child, and for showing me that it does change, and they don't stay babies...but it keeps getting better and better!

Tracy - I can't wait for Paul to come RUNNING with a hug and kiss for Mommy! I got a BIG hug from him on Saturday evening, after hubby and I left him with my aunt, grandparents and cousins for the day while we Christmas shopped. It was the BEST hug I've ever received!

Happy belated 7 month B'day Paul!!! And what a gorgeous baby he is!! You're very lucky to be blessed with such a beautiful baby!! Enjoy each and every minute with him!! And give those cheeks a big pinch and a big fat wet kiss!!
