My biggest and ONLY stress regarding wedding planning!! What's yours? VENTING SESSION

My planning has be stress free up unitl now!!

I have BM that has her son. 3years old in the wedding party also. My stress:

CONSTANTLY asking me trying to figure out...how do I get to your sister's house the day of the wedding for pics. My son needs to nap so he can't come for pic....well if he naps at this time then i can do this...if this than that......blah blah blah blah blah!!! NOT MY PROBLEM PEOPLE FIGURE IT OUT!!!

My other stress:

'So there is 2 hours in between the ceremony and CH....where do I go..what do I do' (this is from general guests) NOT MY PROBLEM PEOPLE.. FIGURE IT OUT!!!!!

And yet another stress:

'How do I get from the reception to the hotel' The hotel btw is literally 5 mins from the hall.....NOT MY PROBLEM PEOPLE.. FIGURE IT OUT!!!!

I have had a few along the way , but right now I have had three people respond with guest and then call me today to tell me they are coming solo , after i paid and faxed over seating chart .

Invitations , FMIL also , even though those are over ( except for FMIL, i have to deal with her forever)

Well, right now my RSVP date was ahhhh like 3 weeks ago. I would like to make my seating chart but, there is like 5 ppl who I have been trying to hunt down for weeks. My luck they would just show up...

i'm right there with ya! we started the seating yesterday...need i saw more?

My biggest stress have been my nieces who are supposed to be in my wedding party. I vented about them a while back.

After that it's been relatively stress me...Check back with me in Nov. when I'm 1 month away though

You all pretty much know my biggest stress during my planning was my DRESS and the stupid alterations staff at David's Bridal!!! I still have to write that letter to their corporate office!!!

My other stress:

Haha that is my stress as well. My gap is around 2-3hours depending on pictures and such. My sister in law (MOH) has offered to have people at her house in between church and reception.

Maybe you could do something like that? Good luck!!!

My sister in law does the same thing wit the nap and her son. We are giving her a key to the house, told her the ceremony is at 2, after that, pictures until 4:15, then they can leave. If she wants to take him back to our house, she now has a key.

When people say stuff like what your stressing over, I very nicely say 'I am sure you will figure that out' Take it off me and put it right back to them cause it's THEIR problem. I had the same stress about that too. No more....

I totally understand you being annoyed at people with kids who aren't flexible. My brother has two kids and they refuse to compromise. I sent out a schedule of events yesterday and he responds with 'those are right during John and Sally's nap times.' NOT MY PROBLEM!!!

unfortunately that does happen but some work out well--
my daughter was a flower girl last year at FBIL wedding and she fell asleep on the way to the park for photos- i did not wake her up we got photos with her later that nite- they just have to s u ck it up and do what they can- we did- while we were doing photos we all took turns watching the car as she slept-

my stress in my FMLI

the rainbow coat is back- she is bound to wear this ugly thing- i told fh i will not have one photo of her in our album if she wear it and i have told her to her face i think its ugly-

i took her out and we found a very nice mog dress silver and she got it but now

just have to wait and see

Exactly. If it's the kids' nap time, then get a babysitter. If you don't want one, then don't come to the wedding. Easy.

My neice and nephew's schedule dictates EVERYTHING we do - from Thankgiving dinner to everything else. Let me have ONE day that doesn't revolve around their nap time. Just ONE.
