We are having photos done for 2 hours prior to the ceremony. I'm so nervous that my makeup will not look as fresh by the time I get to the church!!!
I so wish I could keep my makeup artist with me for the day!

I'm worried about that as well! Especially since the make up artist will come at 10 a.m and our wedding doesnt start at 8! Do you guys think that's way too early?

Re: My biggest wedding fear at the moment
I would see if you can get an appointment closer to the time of getting to the ceremony. I would be afraid of the same thing that my makeup won't hold up especially if someone made me cry. I'm fortunate, my niece does that for a living and is doing my hair and makeup for the wedding and is in my bridal party so she will be with me all day. But we don't plan on doing my hair and make up until 8:30 when we get to the RH and the photographer will be there at 9:30.
Whatever you work out I'm sure you will be beautiful. Every bride is.

My makeup artist finished with me at 8am and my ceremony was at 12:30. I think it looked great all day!

Re: My biggest wedding fear at the moment
I had my Makeup artist trial at 8 in the morning. I wore it all day doing errands, and then went to a 30th birthday party. Everyone complemented on how flawless my make up was that night! I am sure you will be fine. Just make sure you have your lipstick/gloss and maybe a blotter to carry with you for touch ups. My makeup is getting doen at 12pm because we are taking pics early and cermony starts at 7:45pm. This is also why I chose airbrushing too.

Re: My biggest wedding fear at the moment
I've been worrying about that too! if I do my make up at say, 8am..by 2/3pm I'm totally ready to wash it off and start fresh again..it gets soo greasy so quickly and starts to look really caked on :\. I'm hoping that with the air brush makeup it won't look that way. I'm going to keep all my makeup bag with me though. I can't decide whether or not I want to do a big reveal or just wait to see each other for the ceremony..I feel like if I do the reveal, I'll look so gross come ceremony time!. My MU artist and hair stylist are both coming at 7am, wedding starts at noon.

Re: My biggest wedding fear at the moment
Update: I emailed my MU artist last night expressing my concerns and she assured me that my makeup will not move until I wash it off! When I think back to my trial, I do recall that it stayed on all day, even after playing tennis, but it was very nice to have the reassurance! I feel better!

My biggest wedding fear at the moment
I feel the same way. I keep thinking...it's the beginning of September and it can be very hot out...what if I'm dripping by the time the ceremony starts after 2 hours of pictures, haha. But my make up artist said I should be fine with air brushing and I am going to bring my own makeup bad with my that day, just in case I need to touch up something (cause I'm neurotic!!)

Well, I'm married!! I wanted to say that the makeup lasted all day and night, thru all the pictures in the boiling hot sun and everything! So don't worry everyone! It really doesn't go anywhere until you take it off!!

Sandra Baldini did my makeup, and no airbrushing! She was great, everyone in my bridal party loved her. People who had previously stated that they did not want their makeup done changed their minds when they saw how she made the rest of us up! Highly recommend!
