My BM dresses havent been ordered?? (LONG!/VENT)
So I had posted last week that all my BMs had went to Lilette's to get measured and put down a deposit. When we had went the first time, the lady there had told me thye ordered the dresses as soon as all the girls had given their measurements and deposits.
So I assumed they had ordered the dresses since all the girls had given their deposits and were measured.
Well yesterday I was out with my MOH who told me her dress wasn't ordered. Apparently, when the woman measured her, she told my MOH that she was a few inches short of the largest size available. According to MOH the lady told her to come back in February, they would re-measure her, and then order the dress. So I asked my MOH why she was told ot go back in Feb and MOH said so she could lose weight to fit into the dress. MOH said she couldnt really even talk to the lady b/c the lady wouldnt give her a chance, just said, 'Come back in Feb and get re-measured' They took only $20 from MOH as a deposit since they didnt order her dress.
I don't even know WHO I'm supposed to be annoyed with...or what even bothers me, because the whole situation is so confusing.
First of all-
I need to know if Lilette's ordered the other dresses!! I can't even call b/c they are closed until Dec. 26th for the holidays!!
If they didn't...How could they NOT order my dresses and not even tell me!? You'd think a phone would be common courtesy. I wanted them all ordered in December to prevent any last minute issues.
Second- Why would they tell my MOH to come back in February? What if she doesnt even want to lose weight? What if she physically or medically can't? You just tell her to come back in a few months? And what happens if she doesn't lose the weight and can't order the dress? It just seems insensitive to tell someone that basically they have 3 months to lose weight if they want the dress.
AND HOW COME I WASN'T INFORMED UNTIL NOW!??????????
I asked my MOH if she wanted to just get another dress (for her)..I dont even care. I just want he to get a nice dress she feels comfortable in that fits her nicely. But she wants the same dress as the other girls which I understand.
I dont know what to do.....I wish someone had told me last Sunday! I dont even know if my dresses have been ordered.
