I just need to vent everybody. A couple of my BM live out of town and half of the ones that live in NYC weren't able to come when we were choosing the BM dresses. Well, we made the final decision and chose the dress. I gave everybody the information to get their measurements done. Not one person got their measurements done and it has been almost two months! They keep telling me that they'll do it next week. I know it's the holidays but I'm starting to get frustrated. Anybody having similar problems or have any advice?? Thanks!

Oh yeah, same song and dance!
Finally I just let it go. If they didn't have a dress, or had to pay extra for a rush, I wasn't going to worry about it.
They all got measured and ordered in time, but they waited till the last minute.

Tell them they can't process the order until all measurements are in so you need them asap. I hate when people don't work with you.

Set a date... let them know measurements must be in by _____in order to get the dresses in time.
People are weird if you tell them to get it done they'll just do it whenever but if you set a date for some reason they move a little faster.

I had the same problem and I went crazy-mine took over two months and then I just told them that they would not be in on time and that I am worrying about it. Finally, a week after that conversation they got their measurements. So my advice, tell them that they need to have this done because you are worrying about it.

I had to firmly set a date with my OOT BM. Plus I kept calling her and I guess she had enough of my messages!

My sis best friend from like 4th grade was from OOT. She didn't even get her dress hemmed. It ruined all of her pics because the dress looks so stupid.
