My boss is a LOSER!!!!

She has her summer Friday off today and guess what she does... She read one of my e-mails at HOME and replies telling me what to do. I was about to say: Why don't you just come in since I have some questions to ask you. Or should I call you since you are doing work on your day off?

When I am off or out of this hell hole, the last place I think about or talk about is here. I am running like the wind and don't think about this place till Sunday night.

Kathy that is why I vowed to not become one of THEM when I become manager. I couldn't. No way! She complains all the time about this place. The work, the people... Yet its like she loves it.
Our VP calls the office when he is on vacation with his family. And I mean more than once per vacation. He is important but not that important that the office is falling apart if he isn't here. I told FH that if he did that to me when we have children and we are on vacation, I will take the next flight, or rent a car and go home.

What is wrong with them??

I completely understand where you guys are coming from. I am a manager at my job and I usually call on my day off for about 2 minutes to make sure how everything is, only because I don't want to come to a headache the next day. If there is a problem they would call me to see. When I am on vacation I probably call twice to make sure everything is ok. Probably I am crazy but I guess that is why my bosses love me.

My sister is a supervisor at weight watchers and she is just like you girls described but she doesn't call just to chit chat. I think its all about the responsbility one has on their shoulders.

Now those bosses that just call just to say hello and chit chat over stupidity really need to get back to their day off. If its not work related than why bother calling.

I love my boss....she is very nice but she too works all hours of the night. I read emails the next morning that were sent to me at 3am
