My Bridal Shower!!
Well this is a little late...... my bridal shower was at the Landmark Cafe in Medford on Saturday, June 14th. My cousin told me we were meeting for lunch for my birthday because my birthday was June 12th. I thought it might be my shower, but my FH was as calm as a cucumber so he threw me off. However when the hostess was showing us to the room, she kind of gave it away because she let me go in front of her. So when I walked in all I saw were cameras! It was great though! I was so happy! My bridesmaids are the best!! They didn't leave out any detail. The food was delicious, especially the stuffed shrimp. The favors were floral notepads with a matching pen. The hit of the bridal shower were a stack of beautiful boxes with a card at the top with a picture of my mother in her wedding dress and in the card read 'Your mother was blessed with a beautiful daughter and we were blessed with a beautiful friend' This was from 5 of my bridesmaids, I cried immediately when I saw this because my mother died when I was 19, so this was so touching. Each box contained everything I need for my wedding day; unity candle, guest book & pen, garters, money bag, cake knife and server, ringbearer pillow (in the shape of a shamrock) and a beautiful penoir set. They also gave me a certificate for a one night stay at any hotel on our wedding night. One of the unique gifts of the day was a beach bag with a tag my MOH made that said ALOHA Honeymoon necessities for the Bride and Groom. It contained everything we need to go away with including a dozen magazines to read on the long flight to Hawaii. One of the best gifts we received was a patio set I registered for. My FH didn't think anyone would buy that for us when I registered for it, but I figured what the heck if we get it, we get it..and sure enough we did!! I'll post pictures as soon as I scan them.
