3 of the 5 BMs tried this one on, looked great on everyone and they all loved it!!! Only problem, its a fall wedding and I was planning on like a deep red or even a chocoate brown for the dresses....this one only comes in light pastel colors and black (which my mom refuses to have!!) So I have to keep my fingers crossed that jimhjelm will come out with more colors (they girl at the store said they usually do, its in a new fabric new this season!! what do you think??!!
Very pretty & there's nothing saying you can't have pastel colors.

Re: my Bridesmaid dress!!!
I have a question...what kind of fabric does it now come in? I love that dress and my sister tried it on and the fabric didn't seem dressy enough to me

Re: my Bridesmaid dress!!!
the fabric is called 'polished cotton' Its definetly not as dressy as some other fabrics but Im having a less formal afternoon wedding and I loved the feel of the fabric....its a bit heavier. I don't mind any of the colors....I guess I just had it set in my mind we would use 'fallish' colors! I would totally do it in black, when it comes down to it, my mom would go with whatever decision!! thanks for the input!

I like it in black...it's really stylish. So does polished cotton have a shine to it?

Re: my Bridesmaid dress!!!
Wow - it is a beautiful dress. I actually had the same problem - I really wanted chocolate for the girls but the dresses I loved didn't come in the colors I wanted.
I ended up going with a different designer - but I did have the wedding center in commack call Jim Hjelm to get a dress cut for me in one style, with a different fabric. The offered to do it for a nominal fee. I want to say it was $25 You could try asking.
I ended up going with Laundry by Shellie Segal in chocolate.

I really like the dress..
Did the store call the designer, b/c I am sure if they did they might be able to tell you if they will make this in a different color..
