My Bridezilla moment

So my brother has been saying since i got engaged that i would turn into a bridezilla and in the past 9 months i have not had a single moment until last night.

Little back story, my younger brother has been involved with an older woman for the past several years, she has two children from previous men, ages 14 and 6 (one of my flower girls). Last year they had a child, cutest thing ever, who is my ring bearer.

Well last night my dad informs me that she is pregnant again (we had no clue they were interested in child #2/#4 so soon) and guess when the baby is due? If you are thinking the WEEK OF MY WEDDING, you are right. My wedding is Jan. 6, the baby is due Jan. 3!!!!

My dad said that my brother will still be at my wedding with my neice and nephew and that she along with the new baby and little girl will stay behind.

My bridezilla moment happened when i informed my mom that i dont care if she is in labor my brother better be on a plane to NY (they live in FL) for my wedding. The other bridezilla moment happened when my dad said calmly these things happen there is no control where upon i scremed there is control and its called birth control.

Sorry this is so long, but i am really upset by this. I can't imagine getting married without my brother there. And I feel bad that he would be leaving his new born child behind to be with me, but not bad enough to tell him to stay home. And my parents keep saying it will work out fine, but i feel no one knows that until he is on a plane headed for NY and that is still several months away. Everytime i think of him not being there i want to cry.

i'd be upset too. a big fear i have is that my brother's GF gets pregnant yet again (::vomiting a little cause i hate her::) and she'll be ready to pop at the wedding. [i've been suspicious of her lately as she is acting strange like the last 2 times she popped a kid out]

you are entitled to your bridezilla moment---not having your bro there would be quite devastating to me too!

Take a deep breath, and relax. I'm sure that your brother will do everything he can to be in NY for your wedding day. I'm sure everything will work out

You are totally entitled to your bridezilla moment. If I was in the same situation, I'd be upset too. Try not to sweat it though. I'm sure your brother will be there for you.

My step sister was going to be induced into labor 1 1/2 weeks before her due date-why can't she due that? Doc said it was fine and now a lot of women are doing this (they seem to like to pick the baby's B-day)?! It's just an idea. But I don't blame you at all for the Bridezilla moment-I would be devastated if one of my brothers couldn't make it to our wedding. Good luck.

I would have a HEART ATTCK if it was me.. I don't even think I can give you good advice, bc it's YOUR big day, a day you always dreamed of, and here's a HUGE obstacle in the way..

I hope it all works out for you and your brother and the kids are able to be in the wedding..

aww, I think you have a right to be upset- it must be so aggravating to not be able to control a situation so close to your wedding!
